JANICE REDEEMED WITH TRIAL WIN

Janice Dickinson won her way back into the good books of her I'm A Celebrity… team-mates after beating Rodney Marsh in the second Bushtucker Trial.

The former model had staked her claim as the alpha female in the camp by telling new entrant – former Apprentice hopeful Katie Hopkins – that she was the "reigning queen" of bitches.

And Janice then defeated footballer-turned-pundit Rodney to win her Snake Rock team an evening meal.

The pair were strapped into a car containing ten of the prize stars, from which they had to escape as the car sank and an intrepid Janice grabbed eight stars to win the day two Bushtucker Trial

"I felt like my team mates had to eat," she said afterwards. "That’s all that I had. I tried to be a fearless warrior. I felt like James Bond. That I had to do this to save the world. I'm Janice Bond."

A shocked Rodney told his Croc Creek team mates: "I'm thinking Janice, how can she beat me? I got eight out of ten and she got nine out of ten.

"I tell you though, I lost to a f**king woman," he blurted, before adding quickly: "Joke, joke, joke.”

However there was a sting in the tail for the victorious Snake Rock team, after they were told they would given one less meal for apparently breaking a rule during the Celebrity Chest challenge.

And meanwhile newcomer Katie reassured the show's producers, who might have been worried that she's calmed down since her tussles with Sir Alan Sugar on BBC2's The Apprentice, that she'll be pulling no punches in the Australian jungle.

"During The Apprentice I certainly came over as a superbitch," she admitted. "It seemed to be that I was saying things behind people’s backs."

But the former Met Office girl added: "The truth is that I’ll say it to their face. I’ll say it out loud and I’m not afraid of saying it. So people either love me or they loathe me and I commend that. I’d rather be loved and loathed than be in this murky middle ground of mediocrity."
