JAGGER'S SON LANDS ROLE IN VIVALDI BIOPIC

SIR MICK JAGGER's son JAMES is advancing his acting career from the London stage to the big screen - he has landed his first movie role in the biopic of historic composer VIVALDI.
James Jagger, whose mother is Texan model Jerry Hall, has turned his back on following his famous father into the music industry in the hope of becoming an accomplished actor.
The 23-year-old will play an pal of the Venetian priest - famous for his Four Seasons composition - in the movie set to be released in 2009.
The rock offspring has already proved a hit with theatregoers, winning critical acclaim for his role in London play Lone Star last year (07).
And Jagger, who once claimed having his father's surname was "more of a curse than a blessing", has proved a hit with the cast and crew on his first film, Vivaldi - The Red Priest.
A source tells Britain's Daily Express newspaper, "James doesn't want to trade on his father's name. He never mentions it, which is really good, but it is not hard to see the family resemblance."

Don't be so quick to say your father's name is a curse my dear James, cause it sure as hell gave you the start you needed, compared to the endless effort that real talented no name actors must go through to get their first role.
