JAGGER REFUSES TO GIVE UP THOMAS POEMS

ROLLING STONES star SIR MICK JAGGER has scuppered plans for director JOHN MAYBURY to use DYLAN THOMAS' poems in his upcoming biopic MAP OF LOVE.
Jagger owns the copyright to a selection of the Welsh playwrights poems and has refused Maybury permission to use them in his movie - because the rocker is planning his own picture.
Maybury says, "We had access to few poems. Unfortunately, Mick Jagger owns quiet a lot and he has his own Dylan Thomas project.
"There were parts of the set where we used elements of Map of Love but we had to CGI (edit) them out because Mick threatened to sue if we kept them in there."
