MARC JACOBS will always be LIL' KIM's favourite fashion designer - because he wrote the rapper letters every week while she was behind bars.
The hip-hop star served ten months in a U.S. prison after she was convicted on perjury charges in 2006.
And Lil' Kim - real name Kimberly Denise Jones - insists it was the style maven's regular correspondence that helped her get through her sentence.
She says, "He's one of my best friends and was actually a huge supporter when I was in prison. He wrote me every week! I decided to buy a coloring book - I'm a huge Bratz (dolls) fan - and I painted the Bratz and made them all wear Marc Jacobs, and sent it to him.
"He blew it up and framed it, and now it's hanging in his house. So Marc Jacobs is the best."
