JACKSON'S STAGE RETURN IN DOUBT
MICHAEL JACKSON's return to the stage to accept an iconic award has reportedly been jeopardised by an ongoing row with his brothers over unpaid debts.
According to the New York Post, the pop legend owes his siblings - Jackson 5 bandmates Jermaine, Tito, Marlon and Jackie - $840,000 (GBP420,000) in royalties from their string of 1970s hits.
The King of Pop has reportedly not spoken to his brothers since being acquitted of child molestation charges in 2005.
And Michael's alleged debt to the quartet has fuelled reports he will not be joining them on stage next month (04Sep08) when the Jackson 5 pick up their lifetime achievement gong at the BMI Urban Awards in Los Angeles.
