JACKSONS PRAISE THIS IS IT MOVIE

MICHAEL JACKSON's father JOE JACKSON has given the late King of Pop's THIS IS IT concert rehearsal movie the thumbs up after watching it in Las Vegas on Tuesday night (27Oct09).
The Jackson family patriarch had initially poured scorn on the film, suggesting director Kenny Ortega had used a Jacko body double to flesh out the film.
But now he's seen the finished product, Jackson is thrilled with the movie, which he saw with boxing promoter Don King at The Palms resort.
He says, "The performance is great because it’s Michael performing. He’s always going to give a good show."
And now Jackson is calling on critics to be kind to his son's swansong film: "I don’t know what the media are going to say, but after they see the movie, I hope it's good... If the media talks good in favour of the movie, that’s fantastic."
Brother Jackie Jackson, who first saw the film last week (22Oct09), also attended the world premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (27Oct09) and admits he loves the movie: "It's Michael at his best... It's wonderful to see him onstage."
But sibling Tito reveals he couldn't summon up the strength to see the film after walking the red carpet at the premiere.
He explains, "I got through the doors of the theatre and I just couldn't go in. It was too soon for me... Jackie informed me that it was very uplifting and a very happy movie, and it wasn't as sad as I thought it would be."
He's not the only family member not to see the film - he explains his mother Katherine, brother Randy and sisters Janet, Rebbie and La Toya have yet to see This Is It."
But Jackie reveals his late brother's three children will see the film at a private screening later this week.
He explains, "They're gonna have a private screening for themselves at home. It has already been arranged... and they wanna see it."

It was stunning, amazing and a show to end all shows. Michael was doing what he did best ..... performing. I saw nothing to suggest he was frail, ill or near death. He did everything himself and showed no signs of suffering. Also, this WAS Michael. No double for sure. Joe is proving more and more what an idiot he is every time he opens his mouth. No double used here. This was pure 100% Michael Jackson. Some of that family should now seriously consider not speaking in public or in interviews. All they are doing are making fools of themselves and the rest of the family. I have tickets for tomorrow night too. Now I know what I have to look forward to. I so can't wait for this to be out on DVD.
