JACKSON TO PERFORM AT WORLD MUSIC AWARDS
LATEST: Pop star MICHAEL JACKSON will perform live when he accepts a lifetime achievement award at the World Music Awards in London next week (15NOV06). The BEAT IT star's costumes will be designed by ROBERTO CAVALLI, who met Jackson at his new home in Ireland on Monday (06NOV06). As previously announced, the reclusive singer will receive the Diamond Award, given to artists who have sold more than 100 million albums. His appearance is timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of THRILLER, which is among the best-selling albums of all time.

First Mariah last year, now you this time around - I can't think of another
award show that honestly showcases and promotes REAL talent the way the WMAs
