JACKSON ROAD SIGNS STOLEN
Road signs dedicated to country crooner ALAN JACKSON are proving to be hot property in Georgia - four of them have been stolen. The highway signs near Jackson's hometown of Newnan, Georgia Which noted the stretch of the interstate named after the singer went missing last week (ends24NOV06). The Georgia Department Of Transportation says the missing signs are considered an act of vandalism and will be replaced as soon as possible.
