Country star ALAN JACKSON staged a very special intimate concert in Nashville, Tennessee last night (02AUG06) for a family who survived a devastating tornado in April (06) . The singer held the private show for local firefighter JERROD HAWKINS, his wife AMY and their two sons, to honour their bravery and optimism in the face of disaster. The tornado ripped through the Hawkins' neighbourhood, destroying everything in its path. Jackson's concert wasn't the only treat for the family - they've also had their property rebuilt as part of home makeover TV show EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION.
