JACKSON FIGHTING ALIENS IN FILM VERSION OF UFO

Actor JOSHUA JACKSON is breathing life into cult U.K. TV show UFO after signing on to a film adaptation of the hit 1970s programme.
The former Dawson's Creek star is teaming up with producer Robert Evans and director Matthew Gratzner for an updated version of the series, about a pilot who joins a secret organisation dedicated to fighting aliens.
Production on the film is expected to begin early next year (10), reports trade paper Daily Variety.
The original sci-fi show was created by Gerry Anderson and Sylvia Anderson and aired in the U.K. from 1970 to 1971.
