JACKSON: 'ANGELS REMAKE MISSED THE MARK'
Original CHARLIE'S ANGELS star KATE JACKSON has blasted the film remake of the series which rocketed her to fame, insisting the movie simply seemed like a "competition" between the sexy stars. Jackson, who starred alongside FARRAH FAWCETT and JACLYN SMITH in the successful 1970s detective show, was disappointed in the 2000 film CHARLIE'S ANGELS - because she could tell the stars CAMERON DIAZ, LUCY LIU and DREW BARRYMORE were not united. The 57-year-old says, "I think they missed the mark. "In the TV show, Farrah, Jaclyn and I were best friends who cared for each other and I think that came through in the acting. "In the movies, they were too busy competing with each other, trying to see who could jump the highest or wear the tightest clothes."
