JACKMAN'S SONG-AND-DANCE OSCAR TRIBUTE
Academy Awards host HUGH JACKMAN brought Broadway glamour to the Oscars on Sunday (22Feb09) night, opening the show with a song-and-dance routine to pay tribute to the movies nominated for Best Feature.
With a 'home made' changing backdrop, the Australian star performed lively homages to Slumdog Millionaire, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Reader, The Wrestler and he dragged nominee Anne Hathaway onstage to turn Frost/Nixon into a love story.
