JACKMAN PLANNING FAMILY AUSTRALIAN OUTBACK ADVENTURE

HUGH JACKMAN is planning to 'rough it' on a family vacation this summer (07) when he takes his family backpacking in the Australian outback. The actor, who is currently shooting on location in his native Australia with fellow Aussie Nicole Kidman, is taking off for three-and-a-half months when filming has wrapped. And he's taking his wife Deborra-Lee Furness and their two adopted kids with him. The adventurous X-Men star tells People magazine, "I'm bringing the whole kit and caboodle up and we're doing a three-and-a-half month adventure in the outback. "At times we'll be in tents, we'll be out on Aboriginal land, there'll be crocodiles. "My son just turned seven, my daughter is almost two - she'll forget it, but my son never, ever will. "I'm thrilled I have a wife who's up for it."

The People article is misleading. Hugh will still be filming his latest movie on location in northern and western Australia where the family will accompany him. Thus making a 3 and a half month family adventure out of his work time.

The adventure holiday sounds marvellous and way out in the outback. Well if he gets any cancellations I may not be as young or pretty as Debra but I would not say no to the chance of spending time with him at all. Have a great time Hugh you deserve it - and I love The Fountain and you have some great projects to come - trouble is when one film finishes and I have seen [more than once I hasten toadd] I start counting the days for the next one - One day I will grow up - but not yet
