JACK JOHNSON TOPS ALBUM CHARTS
Singer-songwriter Jack Johnson's new album Sleep Through The Static has entered the UK album charts at number one.
The eco-friendly credentials of his fourth studio record which was powered exclusively by solar power appears to have impressed British music-lovers as it has pushed Adele's 19 off the top of the chart.
Nickelback's All The Right Reasons remains steady at number three while the second highest new entry was from Made In The Dark by Hot Chip, in at number four.
Mary J Blige's new record Growing Pains enters at six.
In the singles chart Basshunter's Now You're Gone continues its dominance at the top, sticking around at number one for its fifth consecutive week.
Nickelback's Rockstar leapfrogged Chasing Pavements by Adele up to number two, while Rihanna climbed one place with Don't Stop The Music.
The highest new entry was Hot Chip's Ready for the Floor at six, while One Night Only were in at nine with Just For Tonight.
