IZZARD COMPLETES MARATHON TASK

Funnyman EDDIE IZZARD has raised more than $300,000 (£200,000) for charity - by running 1,100 miles (1,770 kilometers) across the U.K. in 51 days.
The superfit actor/comedian completed the equivalent of 43 marathons in just over seven weeks, covering a minimum of 27 miles per day.
Izzard, who starred alongside Tom Cruise in 2008 war thriller Valkyrie, finished his mammoth trek in London's Trafalgar Square on Tuesday (15Sep09).
He says, "I feel exhausted now, but you know, it's over."
Izzard's endurance feat raised $300,000 for British charity Sport Relief.
