ISOBEL CAMPBELL POSTPONES US TOUR

ISOBEL CAMPBELL has apologised to fans after being forced to postpone a planned US tour.

The ex-BELLE & SEBASTIAN singer was set to hit the states with collaborator MARK LANEGAN later this month, but the dates in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles have now been pushed back to September.

Writing on her Myspace page, she explained that the dates had to be shifted because of "unavoidable circumstances".

Campbell said: "I am sorry for any inconvenience. The good news is that there will be a more extensive US and Canadian tour at this time."

Anyone who had purchased tickets for this month's show will still be able to use them for the rescheduled concert, she added.

The tour will be the first time that Lanegan and Campbell have toured US since they started working together back in 2006.

Originally, the dates were scheduled to promote the release of their latest album, SUNDAY AT DEVIL DIRT.
