IRONS HELPS ELDERLY FAN

English actor JEREMY IRONS rushed to the aid of an elderly lady after she was taken ill during an acting lesson. The Merchant Of Venice star was teaching an acting masterclass at London's Covent Garden, when one of the pupils felt faint. A fellow student says, "Everyone was asked to leave the theatre, which had become very warm, but Jeremy hurried to fetch the woman some water and began to fan her with his papers. "He diligently looked after her and waited with her until a first-aider arrived. She was fine though - just a little faint."
