INJURED WOODRUFF VISITS OLD HAUNTS IN LONDON
Former ABC anchor Bob Woodruff, who was critically wounded by a roadside bomb while reporting from Iraq last January, made his first trip abroad this week and visited his former colleagues at the ABC News London bureau. "Considering how extensive his injuries were, and how incapable he had been only a few months back when he could barely even move, it was amazing to see him standing here," ABC's London bureau chief, Marcus Wilford, wrote on the network's news blog. "He looks and sounds great. It is so good to see him, so good to have him back," Wilford added. Woodruff himself told the group, "It's so great to be here. ... I've got some way to go, but I'm getting there and I'm not afraid."
