IMPORTANT ROCKERS KASABIAN

Kasabian believe they have made one of the most vital albums of modern times with their latest LP 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum'.

Kasabian claim their new album is the "most important record of the decade".

The 'Fire' hitmakers have just released 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum' and insist it is essential listening for any music fan.

Guitarist Serge Pizzorno said: "It's the most important record of the decade. I mean, what else have we got to look forward to or be amazed by?"

The LP is the band's third album and singer Tom Meighan believes it shows they have finally grown up.

He explained to XFM radio DJ John Kennedy: "It's a 21st Century modern rock record in my eyes. It says coming of age and growing up."

'West Ryder Lunatic Asylum' is expected to top the UK album chart on Sunday (14.06.09).
