IGGY COLLABORATES WITH ASIAN DUB FOUNDATION

Iggy Pop has collaborated with ASIAN DUB FOUNDATION on a cover of THE STOOGES track No Fun.

The band managed to get the legendary punk on board for the track after meeting him at a recent festival.

Iggy sang the praises of the band at the event, calling them the "best live band he'd seen in 30 years", reports Uncut.

The track will now feature on ASIAN DUB FOUNDATION'S forthcoming studio album PUNKARA.

Speaking about the collaboration, the band's Chandrasonic described the song as "unbridled, off the hook banghra meets unbridled off the hook thrash proto-punk. The two aren't combined very often but they have a lot in common."

Due to be released on October 6th, the album will also feature a collaboration with GORGOL BORDELLO'S Eugene Holtz.

Elsewhere, it was recently reported that a stolen truck containing IGGY POP and THE STOOGES equipment was found empty and abandoned in Canada.
