Actor-turned-rock star RHYS IFANS has broken his foot - just days before his band is set to open a concert for OASIS.
The Notting Hill star will be playing through the pain as his group, The Peth, takes the stage in support of the Wonderwall hitmakers at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on Friday (12Jun09).
And Ifans admits the only thing more embarrassing than the plastic foot brace he is currently sporting is the origin of the injury.
He explains, "It was a very un-rock 'n' roll accident - I was playing football with kids and didn't even have the ball. I broke a little but very important bone."
