IDOL STAR TO FRONT NEW EVANESCENCE
A former AMERICAN IDOL finalist has formed a new rock act with three founding members of goth-rock group EVANESCENCE.
Irish singer Carly Smithson, who was compared to Evanescence star Amy Lee throughout her stint on the TV talent contest, will front The Fallen - the new band formed by Lee's ex-boyfriend and bandmate Ben Moody.
Moody tells the Los Angeles Times, "We began looking for our soulmate, which we were scared was going to take a long, long time."
