IDLE TO BRING SPAMALOT TO THE SCREEN
MONTY PYTHON star ERIC IDLE is planning to bring his hit musical SPAMALOT to the big screen - but not before it has undergone a few vital changes. The British funnyman, whose much-loved show is based on the classic Python movie MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL, admits he has to go back to the drawing board in order to make it sufficiently different to the original film. He says, "It'll have to be fresh. It would have to be completely different. You can't just move it from stage back to the screen."
