IDLE CALLS ON FUNNY FRIENDS TO PREVIEW NEW PLAY
MONTY PYTHON star ERIC IDLE is giving fans a taste of his new play, WHAT ABOUT DICK?, by asking pals like BILLY CONNOLLY and EDDIE IZZARD to join him for a public reading.
Idle plans to use the two November (07) shows at Los Angeles' Ricardo Montalban Theatre to find out if the play - about a 1940s radio troupe - is funny enough.
Tracy Ullman and Tim Curry will also be among the cast of the two-show preview.
