HUTCHENCE'S BROTHER: 'KYLIE AND BONO SO RESPECTFUL TO MICHAEL'S MEMORY'
Late INXS frontman MICHAEL HUTCHENCE's brother RHETT made sure the upcoming biopic about his brother was kind to former lover KYLIE MINOGUE and friend BONO, because they have both been so respectful of the singer's memory. Hutchence is a consultant on the film SLIDE AWAY, and insists the movie will give people a true sense of who the NEW SENSATION singer really was. He tells website TheHollywoodNews.com, "Michael's life was an interesting one. God he lived. The project (handles the subject matter) in a way I believe everyone is treated pretty fairly. "(It's) a very difficult task to constrict something like this in such a manner that is honourable to Michael's memory, to my niece (HEAVENLY HIRAANI TIGER LILY HUTCHENCE) to Kylie, etc." Hutchence says he "can't say enough good things" about the SPINNING AROUND singer and is grateful to her and U2 frontman Bono for being discreet after Michael's death. He adds, "They've been respectful to Michael's memory. They know how they feel and what their personal relationship to Michael was and they don't, in my mind, feel they need to prove what they were to my brother in any way, shape or fashion."

yes, smokie, reports i've read say this song was for him, Bono's Conversations
book reflects his broken heart in not being there for him, and on here in the
last year was a report that Ali had an insight that Michael was a concern prior
to his death, and that Bono wishes he had listened. and then Paula's death as
well not too longer afterward. i often wonder what he thinks of the new INXS
with JD Fortune at the front. i could never, ever imagine U2 without Bono. He
said something in his book that i've embraced concerning Michael, and that is
something along the line of when things get dark, or go wrong, or a bad day or
season, just wait for 30 minutes. 30 minutes can change everything. and for me
sometimes the 30 minutes is just that, sometimes it's 30 days. but i love that
and appreciate that from him.
Wasn't U2's song "Stuck in a Moment You Can't Get Out Of" written in
Hutchences' memory? And when performed on tour, it was like Bono was singing
to Hutchence...
