HUFFMAN EYES BROADWAY ROLE

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES actress FELICITY HUFFMAN is planning a move from Los Angeles to New York so she can return to the Broadway stage.
Huffman starred in the original 1988 Broadway production of David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow, and has appeared in numerous plays with the Atlantic Stage Company, formed by her actor husband William H. MACy, and playwright Mamet.
MACy has temporarily relocated to the Big Apple after taking over the lead role in a new production of Speed-the-Plow following the sudden departure of its star Jeremy Piven in December (08).
And Huffman admits the pair has considered making the bi-coastal move more permanent.
She tells the New York Daily News, "My husband Bill and I often talk about coming (to New York) for a year, bringing the kids, putting them in school here and doing some plays. I would love to get back to work at the Atlantic."
