Hollywood actress KATE HUDSON credits her mother GOLDIE HAWN with giving her a healthy attitude towards sex and relationships - insisting her parents' honesty helped her while growing up.
Hudson was raised by Hawn and her longterm partner Kurt Russell, and used to have candid chats with them about sex.
And the Almost Famous actress is convinced the fact she was able to talk openly to the pair about intimate issues gave her a more balanced outlook on all of her adult romances.
She says, "She (Hawn) never treated me like a child and I really respected her for that.
"They always said, 'Sex is the best thing in the world. When you start having it you're going to love it. But it's that much better when you love someone, so just remember that.'
"She's great - she knows when to be and not to be a mother."
