ALMOST FAMOUS star KATE HUDSON dreams of escaping from her Hollywood lifestyle to work on an apple farm. The blonde actress, who announced her split with rocker husband CHRIS ROBINSON last week (14AUG06), admits she often fantasises about disappearing from the public eye. Hudson tells British magazine Empire, "Sometimes you think, 'Let's just cash it all in and go someplace else and pick apples and can them.' "I guess it's about simplicity, especially when your life is so all over the place with traveling all the time. But I think I could probably do that for about six months, and then I'd be ready to get on the road. "Because I'm also very social. The reality of that fantasy is the woman who starts going crazy by herself, scratching her arm, going, "I am the lady of my land..." Like THE SHINING. "But there is a simplicity I would like in my life eventually - to have a place where I can go and just disappear."
