HUDSON TO RECORD GOSPEL ALBUM?
JENNIFER HUDSON is turning her back on her pop music roots - she's set to record a gospel album, according to reports.
The Spotlight singer shot to fame on American Idol in 2004 and her self titled debut album was full of R&B and pop hits.
But now Hudson is turning to gospel for her second album, which she'll start recording this spring (09), reports MediaTakeOut.com.
A source tells the website, "(Jennifer) has always wanted to explore different genres and she's recorded gospel before, so it makes a lot of sense."
