HUDSON 'SCREAMING' DOWN PHONE AFTER HEARING OF MUM'S MURDER

LATEST: Distraught actress JENNIFER HUDSON was "screaming" down the phone when her sister JULIA broke the tragic news about their mother and brother's double murder.
The Dreamgirls star's mum Darnell Donnerson was found shot in the head in her living room at the family's Chicago, Illinois home on Friday (24Oct08). Her brother, 29-year-old Jason Hudson, was found upstairs with fatal gun wounds to the chest.
Authorities took William Balfour, who was once married to the actress' sister Julia, into police custody later that day. Julia Hudson's seven year old son, Julian King - who was at his grandmother's home at the time of her death - is still missing.
Julia Hudson attended a press conference on Saturday (25Oct08) to plead with his kidnapper to return him home safely, telling reporters: "My greatest fear has already happened. My greatest hope is for him to come back."
And when quizzed about her Oscar-winning sister's reaction to the horrific crime, she told how her sister had been devastated and was left "screaming" down the phone when the news was broken to her.
Hudson adds that the former American Idol contestant "flew in right away" from Los Angeles to Chicago to be by her side.
Police have launched a search for King, and have reportedly called in the FBI to help track down the child.
No charges have been brought against Balfour as WENN goes to press.
