HOWARD SAVES BABY BIRD FROM TRAFFIC

TERRENCE HOWARD is a hit with the chicks - he held up traffic to save a baby bird from certain death.
The Iron Man star stunned motorists in Beverly Hills recently after he jumped into the middle of the road and waved his arms for drivers to stop.
And it soon became apparent Howard was putting himself at risk in a bid to save a hatchling that had become separated from its mother.
A source tells New York gossip column PageSix, "Six lanes of traffic were stopped. A baby bird was walking in front of a bus when someone from the store came out and tried to help it.
"(He was) holding his hands up and stopping until the bird was out of harm's way."
