HOUSEMATES SHOCKED BY HIRA EVICTION

'Big Brother' contestants Siavash and Rodrigo feel lucky to have escaped eviction last night (07.08.09).

The 'Big Brother' house was shocked into silence when Hira was evicted last night (07.08.09).

As show host Davina McCall read through the list of people who would be staying in the house, the contestants started to panic, with each saying, "Oh no, it's me!"

When it was revealed that Hira would be going home, the house fell into a shocked silence for a few moments, before showering her with hugs and kisses.

But as soon as the fashion designer left the house, the contestants were quiet again, speaking only to voice their disbelief they were still there.

Siavash - who was the first person to be told he was safe - said: "I was so sure she was going to say Siavash, it's you."

Three hours later, they were still discussing their shock at Hira's eviction.

Sitting by the pool with Sophie - also known as Dogface - Rodrigo said: "It was nice to hear Davina's voice tonight. But I was 100 per cent sure Hira would not get evicted. I thought it would be me."
