HOUGH TO GET FOOTLOOSE WITH CRAWFORD?

Country singer and professional dancer JULIANNE HOUGH is set to make her big screen debut - she's the favourite to star opposite CHACE CRAWFORD in the upcoming remake of FOOTLOOSE.
Director Kenny Ortega is currently casting the female lead for his updated version of the 1984 classic, which starred Kevin Bacon, and admits he is a big fan of the Dancing With the Stars beauty.
He tells E! Online's Marc Malkin, "I love her. I adore her. I'm a big fan of hers. Not only how beautiful but how deep her talent goes."
When asked if Hough is being considered for the role of Ariel Moore, previously portrayed by Lori Singer, Ortega replies, "Maybe."
And Hough is remaining equally as tight-lipped about her potential involvement in the movie musical, insisting, "I don't want to say anything until it's a 100 per cent thing."
