Horrors Not Soured By New York Attack
LATEST: THE HORRORS singer FARIS BADWAN insists he still loves New York audiences, despite being attacked onstage in the city at a Hallowe'en (31OCT06) gig. The British rocker was involved in a punch-up mid-performance at Stereo nightclub when a concertgoer jumped onstage and wrestled him to the ground. But Badwan claims the terrifying incident won't stop him playing more shows in the city. He says, "The crowds were really good. The best two were when we played two in one night, in Brooklyn and New York. The crowds are slightly more reserved, not that you'd think that after Halloween. "They are different because they're not going to know us as well as London, but we're going to get different reactions when we go to places where people haven't received us before. I'm really happy with how we went down in New York."
