HORROR FILM WRITER TAKES AIM AT 'PRIMA DONNA' CUSACK
HIGH FIDELITY star JOHN CUSACK has been exposed as a "prima donna" by the writer who penned his new horror film THE FACTORY.
Aussie actor/writer Paul Leyden recently worked with his onetime hero on the Montreal, Canada set of the thriller - and now he insists he never wants to work with Cusack again.
Leyden tells Sydney's Daily Telegraph newspaper that Cusack was a nightmare to work with.
He tells the publication, "John Cusack was one of my favourite actors until I met him."
Leyden adds the star of the film often turned up late and reveals, "He cost us a lot of money.
"He was getting paid a lot of cash and he would just be two hours late to set, wouldn't apologise for keeping everyone waiting in the snow... a real prima donna.
"Everyone thought he was a really nice guy and all I can say is that it was a really nice day when he wrapped."
