HORNE RETURNS TO PLAY

British actor MATHEW HORNE is set to return to his role in a West End play, just days after collapsing onstage.
The comedy star fainted during Thursday (02Apr09) afternoon's matinee performance of Entertaining Mr Sloane, and remained motionless for 10 minutes before paramedics arrived to take him to hospital.
He was released from medics' care the same day, but was forced to pull out of that night's performance.
Just hours after the actor succumbed to illness, his co-star Imelda Staunton also became unwell and cancelled her turn that night.
Now both actors have recovered and are expected to return to the show for Monday (06Apr09) night's performance.
In a statement, Horne says, "I am delighted to say I am feeling much better and will return to the show tonight for the final week.
"I feel terrible for letting audience members down last week when I was ill, and I am so grateful for the wonderful letters of well wishes from everyone.
"We have all had an amazing time working on Sloane since January, and I am just glad to be back in full health for the final week of this tremendous production."
