HORNBY TEAMS UP WITH FOLDS FOR NEW ALBUM
British novelist NICK HORNBY is adding musician to his impressive resume - the HIGH FIDELITY writer is teaming up with American singer-songwriter BEN FOLDS to create a new album.
Hornby, who also wrote the Hugh Grant movie About a Boy, has recruited Folds to compose music to accompany lyrics he penned.
And Folds reveals they make a prolific team - they already have nearly two albums' worth of material.
He says, "I write around his lyrics, which I do easily 'cause he's written these great lyrics. Right now we're up to 18 (songs) that I think are really good, but I think he'll be inspired when he starts hearing them finished and will start to write some more - like a creative second wind or something."
