HOMME HOBBLES THROUGH TOUR

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE frontman JOSH HOMME has postponed an essential knee operation so he can complete the band's summer (07) tour. The No One Knows rocker has been limping around with a walking stick during recent European appearances. But Homme, who had a knee operation two years ago (05), has no intention of calling off any concert dates so he can undergo surgery. He says, "It's messed up bad. It hurts. I gotta go home and have surgery again. "On stage it hurts a lot. I have at least three or four moments a set where it feels like boulders underwater, when they hit each other. It's the only way I can describe it. "But what do I do, go home? I gotta finish what I started. Everyone cancels all the time for hurting their finger and stuff like that. That's not me."
