HOLMES NARROWLY ESCAPES MOVIE CAR FIRE
KATIE HOLMES had a lucky escape on the Australian set of her new film DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK over the weekend (25-26Jul09) when a car she was shooting in caught fire.
According to RadarOnline.com, Tom Cruise's wife was in the middle of a scene when the car's battery exploded unexpectedly, sending the cast and crew running for safety as smoke poured out from beneath the hood.
Holmes emerged unscathed and no injuries were reported from the Victoria location.
