HOLMES AND GUESTS ARRIVE FOR WEDDING

Bride-to-be KATIES HOLMES has been chauffeured to Italy's Castello Odescalchi ahead of her wedding to TOM CRUISE there this afternoon (18NOV06). The actress, accompanied by the couple's seven-month-old daughter, SURI, was driven through the gates of the imposing 15th-Century castle in Bracciano in a limosine earlier today. She was joined by celebrity guests including ROBERTA ARMANI, niece of fashion designer GIORGIO ARMANI, who designed Holmes' wedding dress. Other stars set to arrive in the next few hours include DAVID and VICTORIA BECKHAM, BROOKE SHIELDS, WILL SMITH and his wife JADA PINKETT-SMITH, and MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE director JJ ABRAMS. Actor JOHN TRAVOLTA is also rumoured to be flying in, as well as RUSSELL CROWE and STEVEN SPIELBERG. The centre of Bracciano has been sealed off since last night (17NOV06) and extra police drafted in to control the multitude of fans and press lining the streets.
