HOLLY'S CHINESE TORTURE

Australian actress HOLLY VALANCE went through hell while shooting her new film DOA: DEAD OR ALIVE in China - because everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Valance, who first shot to fame in Australian soap opera NEIGHBOURS, had to endure filthy water, uncommunicative staff and bitching amongst her hormonal fellow stars on the set of the forthcoming action flick. And to make matters worse, none of the cast had bothered to learn the language, and had to put up with feeling "totally isolated". She says, "It was pretty hard. We were out there for four months. We were were totally isolated from everyone else due to them speaking Mandarin. "We all got so ill because of the dirty water. We'd done so much work on our bodies before we went, and then were so sick. We'd just give each other sh*t constantly. Five girls PMS-ing at the same time."
