HOLLAND'S PIANO UP FOR AUCTION

British jazz musician and TV presenter JOOLS HOLLAND is putting his beloved piano up for auction at London auction house Bonhams next month (OCT06), and he is touting the instrument as a valuable piece of music history. The former SQUEEZE star, who presents British TV show LATER...WITH JOOLS HOLLAND, is famed for his collaborations with music legends including SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY, TOM JONES, PRINCE BUSTER and THE BLOCKHEADS - and Holland's prized Yamaha GT7 has been there through all of it. He says, "I would like to congratulate anybody who buys this piano. "TOM JONES, Paul MCCartney, SOLOMON BURKE, JEFF BECK and many others have all been accompanied by this piano, played this piano, placed drinks, notes, coats, hats, private implements on this piano. "You are buying a musical instrument, a piece of history, and a piece of furniture."
