HOFFMAN TAKES ON OTHELLO

PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN is heading back to the New York stage, in a new production of SHAKESPEARE's OTHELLO.
The Oscar winner will play Iago in the play, alongside American Gangster star John Ortiz in the title role.
The show will debut at Aistria's Weiner Festwochen next month (Jun09), before transferring to Off Broadway's Public Theater.
Hoffman is a New York stage veteran with two Tony nominations to his name - for a 2000 performance of True West and Long Day's Journey into the Night in 2003.
