PARIS HILTON's mother KATHY is urging her daughter to stay away from the dating scene - insisting she needs "time" to heal following her split from BENJI MADDEN.
Hilton ended her relationship with the Good Charlotte rocker in November (08) after nine months together and is now rumoured to be romancing The Hills star Doug Reinhardt.
But the socialite's mother is adamant her daughter needs to go a few months without a boyfriend - so she can enjoy life as a single woman.
She tells Fox News, "My dating advice for Paris would be just to take your time. It is okay to be alone; you don’t have to always be with someone."
