HILL TAKES UP HORSE RIDING
Former FUGEES star LAURYN HILL has a new hobby - she has taken up horse riding.
The singer unexpectedly turned up at an equestrian centre in New Jersey on Friday (09Jan09) and had her first lesson.
A source tells New York gossip column PageSix.com, "She just wandered in right off the street. She asked to get on a horse... she did OK for her first time."
The Essex Equestrian Centre confirms: "She took a lesson, yeah."
