HILARY LETS OPRAH CUT HER LOCKS FOR CHARITY

OPRAH WINFREY has turned her hand to hairdressing and cut off nine inches of HILARY SWANK'S mane on her TV show.

The Oscar-winning actress took part in the talk show host's programme Oprah's Great American Haircut comma which was all in aid of Pantene Beautiful Lengths, a charity scheme for women who've lost their hair as a result of chemotherapy.

The US actress had been growing her hair "knowing that it would go to a woman in need" and had been ensuring they were in tip -top condition for donation.

"I've been growing my hair for months, so it's super long and super healthy," she said earlier this month.

"I've gotten my conditioning treatments every four weeks. Everyone is commenting on my hair and how it's long and pretty and healthy and shiny."

Hopefully Hilary will be able to adapt quickly to her short 'do considering she had the chop before for her role in 1999 film BOYS DON'T CRY.
