HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3 STILL TOP OF THE CLASS IN US
High School Musical 3: Senior Year has retained the top spot in the US box office charts after its second week on release.
The Disney film grossed an estimated $15 million (£9.2 million) from 3,626 screens to maintain its hold on US audiences, with its global earnings estimated at $85 million (£52.2 million).
Zack and Miri Make a Porno, the controversially-titled new comedy from writer-director Kevin Smith, was the surprise hit of the weekend, debuting in second.
The Weinstein Company picture sees Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks as the titular friends who decide to make an X-rated movie after falling into dire financial straits.
"We were a little disappointed on Friday, but then came the surge. I'm glad to see people responded to the film as a Seth Rogen comedy, as opposed to responding to it as a controversial movie," said the Weinstein Company's head of distribution Steve Bunnell.
Clint Eastwood's new drama Changeling, starring Angelina Jolie as the mother of a kidnapped son, opened in fourth after its opening weekend on release with last week's number two, Saw V, dropping one place to third.
New horror The Haunting of Molly Hartley entered the chart at five.
