HETFIELD PROVES 'POISON' RESTAURANT IS SAFE

METALLICA rocker JAMES HETFIELD has nerves of steel - he has revisited a restaurant blamed for his bout of food poisoning in March (08).
The Enter Sandman hitmakers were forced to cancel a show in Stockholm, Sweden after frontman Hetfield was hospitalised just hours before stage time.
Reports later alleged a takeaway from local restaurant Indiska Kallaren had made Hetfield ill.
But the rocker was determined to prove gossips wrong and salvage the eaterie's good reputation - so he ordered exactly the same meal on Monday (04May09) when the band returned to the city for the rescheduled gig.
Owner Matab Ahmed tells Sweden's Expressen newspaper, "Of course I was happy because I knew there was never anything wrong with our food. When (a crew member) picked the food up today, he said that James felt bad about people saying that it was our food that made him sick. He said that James promised to write a 'big' autograph that we can put (on the wall)."
