A pink cocktail dress worn by AUDREY HEPBURN in BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S was snapped up for nearly $192,000 (GBP96,000) at auction in New York City. The iconic frock - which is worn by the actress when Holly Golightly discovers her brother has died - went for more than six times the expected price at Christie's. Other items in the sale included Marilyn Monroe's Something's Got To Give script at $19,200 (GBP9,600) and a birthday programme from John F Kennedy's birthday celebration went for $66,000 (GBP33,000). Helen Hall from Christie's says, "The sale was filled with iconic pieces... It captured people's imagination."
