HENDRIX BROTHER LOSES FAMILY ESTATE BATTLE
JIMI HENDRIX's brother LEON has lost his appeal to take charge of the rock legend's estate. Leon Hendrix challenged the late guitarist's stepsister, JANIE, who is the sole heir to the estate, claiming she "unduly influenced" her father to write him out of his will. A court of appeals in Washington state has denied Leon's challenge, ruling Janie Hendrix and the Experience Hendrix group will continue to oversee the rock great's estate.
